Gigabyte has unveiled the new Gigabyte Booktop M1305, a 13.3-inch ultra-thin notebook PC running the newly-released Windows 7 operating system and featuring an innovative docking station, which provides high-performance desktop-like graphics performance via its embedded nVidia GT220 graphics processor and HDMI support.

Its Booktop Docking System seamlessly converts from a laptop into a desktop, and allows you to enjoy the convenience of being mobile with the ability to convert to a desktop for use at home with computer peripherals that connect directly to the docking station, providing more functionality.

Besides a host of innovative features on the netbook itself, it incorporates an nVidia GeForce GT220 graphics processor and a desktop GPU catering for a rich multimedia experience. These provide enough graphics muscle to support playback of any hi-def movie in ultra-smooth quality and allows you to play the latest 3D games that demand the highest levels of graphics performance.

The available multi-I/O ports, which include an HDMI port directly on the docking station to connect up to two large screen displays for a more immersive experience.

Ultra-slim.Ultra-light.Ultra-long battery life
The M1305 Booktop packs leading-edge functionality into an ultra-slim, stylish and light package, with features that include an LCD screen with LED lighting for enhanced brightness, at a 1366×768 resolution. Combine these with Intel’s latest ultra low voltage processors, and the M1305 provides for the maximum levels of power efficiency.

The body itself is only two centimeters thin at its thickest point, while its “Flexibay” caters for an interchangeable optical drive or second three-cell battery, which can extend the battery life for up to 10 hours, or an entire workday of mobility.

Gigabyte’s design focus is on products that are “thinking of you,” so to speak. To this end, the M1305 is equipped with multiple design features that are thoughtful and functional. These include fingerprint and facial recognition biometric technology for instant log-on- with twice the security. It also has a unique, modularized-design for quick and easy hard drive and memory upgrades.

The Booktop also features Gigabyte’s Smart Manager software which combines a number of different system tools into one single intuitive user interface, making the control of personal settings very easy and just a click away. Another Gigabyte development is the Battery Check feature, which will allow you to check the battery status of the notebook, simply by holding down the right mouse button on the mouse pad when the notebook is switched off.

In addition, this notebook PC features optional 3G/HSDPA support for high-speed Internet that can be accessed anytime and anywhere.
