Epson Philippines Corporation (EPC) has unveiled two inkjet printer line-ups that it claimed “expertly leverage Epson’s long legacy of breakthrough technological innovations.”
In a press launch, dubbed as the “INKredible Business Printing Event,” the company formally launched its newest inkjet printer series: the Epson Max Economy (ME) for home and small offices, and the Epson ME Office Series for small and medium-sized enterprises. EPC also introduced its Epson B-Printer (Business Inkjet) Series, which is specially designed to meet the printing requirements of large corporations.
The Epson Max Economy (ME) and ME Office Series printers are ideal for small and home offices that have low print volume (less than 200 pages per month); while the Epson B Series (business inkjet printers) are recommended for organizations and corporations that have mid to high print volume (up to 500 pages per month) but wish to lower their printing costs and achieve the lowest total cost of ownership possible.
Epson’s B Series, made up of the B510DN and the B310N, features high-capacity front paper cassettes that can hold up to 500 sheets of paper to seamlessly facilitate high-volume printing; the B-510DN holds letter or legal-sized paper, while the B-310N holds letter-sized paper with an optional legal-sized paper cassette. In addition, both the B-310N and B-510DN offer fast print speeds (37 ppm on draft mode and 19 ppm for laser-quality colored prints), and allows for network printing for optimum cost savings. The Epson B-310N and B-510DN also have a monthly duty cycle of 10,000 and 20,000 pages respectively, thus lessening down time that hampers operations.
