Cyberspace nowadays means a lot of different things to people from all walks of life. It could a party place to meet and greet friends, a venue for dating, a not-so-private journal for your deepest secrets or a springboard to 15 minutes of fame. Prepaid mobile and broadband brand Globe Tattoo, adds to the list of things that can be done using the internet—an on-demand concert hall.In partnership with internet television site Pelicola.tv, Globe Tattoo launches Alive Out There, a series of never-before-seen concerts released exclusively online. Alive Out There gives you front-row seats to an online experience you won’t soon forget.Alive Out There is the first-ever online concert series available exclusively at www.pelicola.tv, which the diehard rockers can access and easily pay for using a Globe Tattoo Mobile Phone or Broadband USB, Globe GCASH or via credit card. Concert party-philes can also watch Alive Out There via MultiCam, Pelicola.tv’s pioneering multi-angle camera technology–a feature never before seen in the Philippines, which gives you four camera angles to choose from and lets you switch from one angle to another on the fly, so you don’t miss a thing.
Concert Passes are available for just P60.00. But to catch all three performances, a Season Pass is just P150.00.
Along with the concert footage, you can also get access to behind-the-scenes video such as band rehearsals and interviews with the musicians. Although the videos are not available for download due to piracy concerns, viewers have two full days to enjoy the performance as much and as often as you want via the Pelicola.tv website.
The first Alive Out There concert features Pinoy rock demigods Urbandub. In a nostalgic look back at a decade of making music, the hard-rocking Urbandub showcases their greatest hits, then ups the ante with unique first-ever jams with DJ Fastpitch, guitarist Rusell Manaloto, percussions group Kadangyan and classical string quartet Manila String Machine. The band will also perform a completely stripped-down version of the classic 2003 tune “A New Tattoo” from their second album titled Influence, featuring vocalist Gabby Alipe and the 4-string quartet.
“Alive Out There is a testament to what Pelicola.tv stands for. We want to produce gourmet video content that’s groundbreaking in concept, execution, and experience. As an online concert that can be watched via a live, multi-angle feature, Alive Out There is exactly that. And it gets better and bolder with each succeeding concert,” says Pelicola.tv founder and Executive Producer Noel Guevara, “Alive Out There is a realization of our goals. Quite literally, we couldn’t have done this without Globe Tattoo. This show would not have become a reality without the combined infrastructure, experience, determination, and inventive minds of Pelicola.tv and Globe Tattoo.”
The producers also announced that a full 720p HD option of the concert will soon be added as well, which will be available at no extra charge.
“What makes Alive Out There the perfect vehicle to reach music-loving Tattoo users is the combination of great music and the internet as the venue where people get to enjoy everything they are passionate about,” says Globe Tattoo Brand Marketing Head Manny Escosa, “Music is a huge passion for our Tattoo customers, and we want to give them a unique experience, something no one’s ever done before, by giving them an all-access pass to watch their favorite bands online.
