Acer presents the new S1200, designed to bring engaging presentations and visuals in schoolrooms or business environments.

At P44,900, the Acer S1200 comes in a highly polished black finish with smooth rounded corners. It features Ultra-Short Throw Distance, a technology that allows the projector to display clear images even if it is positioned very close to the screen. Even at a throw distance of just 1 meter, highly detailed images can be displayed at up to 82-inch. As a result the S1200 offers greater flexibility and maximum viewing comfort, making it ideal for education and business projection scenarios.

The S1200 projector boasts leading-edge brightness at 2500 ANSI Lumens ensuring exceptionally bright images no matter where it is used. Its native 1024×768 XGA resolution – that supports up to 1680×1050 WSXGA+ – and the 2000:1 contrast ratio ensure ultra-sharp images. Extremely silent – just 28dB in Eco Mode - the S1200 also offers 3000 hours projection (lamp life reaches 4000 hours in Eco Mode) and a built-in speaker.

The Acer S1200 supports NTSC, PAL, SECAM, HDTV and EDTV, and offers a broad range of connections including D-sub and HDMI for easy connection to PCs, notebooks, DVD players or games consoles. As the HDMI port supports HDCP signals, users will be able to watch HDCP protected high-definition content. For ease of use, the handy remote control is provided with a laser pointer and page up/down functionality and with the Empowering Key that allows faster access to the Acer Empowering Technology tools.
 

All Acer projectors offer an exceptional viewing performance that improves any kind of content in any environment. The entire range is based on DLP, a technology that offers enhanced contrast, sharpness and image vividness.

Building on the innovations introduced with ColorBoost, Acer developed Acer ColorBoost II Technology, a color enhancement technology that delivers new improvements and presents ultra-vivid images in brilliant colors. Combining a 6 Color-wheel design, a powerful image processor and the advanced lamp illumination technology, ColorBoost II delivers an entirely new level of color performance with brilliant colors and high contrast ratios. The image processor uses Acer BestColor Tracking technology to improve image gradation, enriching even the darkest of details, and optimizing color temperature, thus displaying more natural colors. Input signal consistency ensures optimized performance for all content, whereas HSG (hue saturation gain) color tuning tweaks the main colors for more natural skin tones. Acer’s proprietary lamp waveform design optimizes multimedia performance in bright environments.

The S1200 projector also features Acer EcoProjection, an environment friendly management solution that reduces power consumption by up to 50% in standby mode. If there isn’t any input signal for 5 minutes, the projector automatically enters ECO mode, thus reducing power consumption up to 20%. Also featured in the Acer EcoProjection suite is Acer ePower Management for customized power-saving configurations.
